howdy yall-

I'm having gauge cluster issues. My oil pressure and temp gauges don't function properly, and my fuel gauge is intermittent, regularly throwing a CEL with p0463.

Doing a gauge sweep/reset does not yield proper function or a proper reset.

I do not have an driveability issues that would suggest any mechanical problems.

So, 1st- Do I assume a faulty cluster? If so, I've not been able to find a digital style cluster online. Can I swap in an earlier model analog style?

2nd- how can I go about testing the wiring? Does anyone have the required pinouts for the cluster, and what am I testing for?

thanks, hope that's clear!

Pulled my cluster out, found a yellow wire from one of the plugs that was pinched/stripped, and must have been shorting out against something. Fixed the wire and my gas gauge has been functioning normally since!
Oil pressure gauge and temp gauge are still out of commission. Without any input as to testing the functionality of my cluster, I'll assume it faulty, and begin the search for a replacement.......

1. Yes. Whether time or mileage, many 04-05 clusters are now failing, including mine and one I obtained as a replacement. I need to send one to RT Grimm near Harrisburg, PA for a rebuild/repair.

2. Not sure. The problems usually are the result of failed solders or cracked circuit boards.
