i need help with lifting my 93 explorer. i know how i can lift the back for real cheap but ive got no idea on how to lift the front. i found some 3in lift blocks at the local parts store for 30 bucks but i still have no idea how to lift the front.

If you still have spring under axle (which is how your explorer came stock) then putting these three inch blocks on will drop the back-end. Sorry to bust your bubble. Just thought I would save you the upset. Hope this helps.

I'm not an expert on this as I haven't done it, but this is what I have gathered from others on this site. You can only lift an Explorer 1.5 - 2" without having to get an aftermarket lift kit. Anymore than that and the front end won't be able to be aligned.

For the rear liftblocks are out because it's a spring under axle. You can use Warrior Shackles and/or add-a-leafs which will each give you about 1.5" of lift.

In the front you can buy or have made a spacer to go under the front spring to lift it or you can buy lift coils. Just make sure you don't exceed 2 inches.

Are you lifting for bigger tires, ground clearence or looks?
