Need Help with my Pioneer HU

I have the avx-7000cd. It's a in-dash 7'' lcd and since I had some work done, the battery was disconnected and I have to reset the a/v receiver in the back so it knows I have a vcr and nintendo. Can anyone help me or tell me how to do it?

Also, if I turn off the auto-dimmer on the screen, it gets squiggles in it and you can barely read the screen. I think it's a power problem because when the cd player in the HU has to move the lens or search the cd, it takes power (obviously) and causes a few squiggles in the screen for a second.

Anyone help me with this? I can't find my owner's manual. Thanks!

BTW, I had a friend that owns a shop do it for me. He put in 2 component systems (front and rear) the master unit, the in-dash, vcr, nintendo, and 2 mtx amps and 4 10'' mtx subs for $2500 with box. I think it was a pretty good deal. Considering I got it when it came out, not too bad I don't think.

Damn, that is a lot of stuff in the car. A nintendo would be tight, but at the same time distracting. Sounds good though...
