Stock changer w Pioneer HU?

A friend gave me his stock Clarion CD changer. Can I run it from my Pioneer HU? It has a IP-BUS input for a changer, so does someone make a converter? How does the changer get power? Where should I mount it? (I have the small center console so no good there)

Short answer, I really doubt it. Until Firewire becomes the industry standard, different manufacturer's products are not able to communicate with one another. Just sell the Clarion on eBay and pick up a Pioneer.

I don't know how expensive it would be, but these guys seem to be able to do anything when it comes to car audio.

No it will not work. The 2 use tottally different protocol language.
