need help with some lift info

hey guys, i just got my 1991 ex back up and driving i absolutly love it but i feel like stock height isnt enough i want to wheel more. i have looked around here and havnt found anything that answers my question yet. im a student so i havent had a bunch of time to look. i want to know the cheapest way to get a good 4-6 inchs of lift but it being safe to for a 1st gen ex. if there is a thread id llove to know where to find it or if anyone has some info that willl help it would be great

Be aware that if you expect to walk into a Ford dealer and then walk out with those spacers for less than $100, it ain't gonna happen. That's assuming you find a dealer who still has any in stock. It's been 3 1/2 years since that thread was started and in that time Ford has discontinued the spring seats and any existing stock has gone up in price by about 250%. If you want to do the spacer lift, your best bets for finding a pair are junkyards or checking forums to see if anyone is selling any.
