need help with some lift info

hey guys, i just got my 1991 ex back up and driving i absolutly love it but i feel like stock height isnt enough i want to wheel more. i have looked around here and havnt found anything that answers my question yet. im a student so i havent had a bunch of time to look. i want to know the cheapest way to get a good 4-6 inchs of lift but it being safe to for a 1st gen ex. if there is a thread id llove to know where to find it or if anyone has some info that willl help it would be great:)

Be aware that if you expect to walk into a Ford dealer and then walk out with those spacers for less than $100, it ain't gonna happen. That's assuming you find a dealer who still has any in stock. It's been 3 1/2 years since that thread was started and in that time Ford has discontinued the spring seats and any existing stock has gone up in price by about 250%. If you want to do the spacer lift, your best bets for finding a pair are junkyards or checking forums to see if anyone is selling any.
