Has anyone run into this? My 97 Exploer (SOHC) started leaking steering fluid. My mechanic said I needed to replace 2 hoses. The main hose is Ford part number 3A719 and cost approx $150. I purchased this item from the dealership and my mechanic says there is no way this hose will actually fit in the vehicle. I've looked at the diagram provided to me by the dealership and it looks like my mechanic is correct. The hose, in reality, is angled in the opposite direction to how it appears in the diagram. Despite the diagram, the dealership insists that this is the correct part. Any help is greatly appreciated.
