At a minimum, you're probably looking at a fluid flush and fresh filter.

But, there's a fair chance the transmission is in need of a rebuild/replacement.

After getting the exhaust out of the way, swapping out the transmission is not a killer job so a used replacement might be a cost effective way to keep the Expo on the road.

You're in the best position to judge the condition of the rest of the truck, your budget, needs and wants. Even if you can't do the work yourself, there are solutions for probably under a grand.

Make sure there's no water in that fluid or you're looking at doing it all again.

Sounds like the torque converter is gone, gonna need to replace it and do an overhaul at least.

I started last night talking fluid out trasfer case and transmission I noticed trasfer case fluid was good but transmission was extremely burn and also noticed lots of metals like metallic paint anyways I found one transmission for 550 with 109,000 miles on it olso I im going to pick it up this Friday.
