Need Help!

Hey, I am actually here on behalf of a friend who needs help with his 00 Explorer XLT. He needs to locate where the computer module (I'm assuming it is also called the ECU ) is located so that he can get his keyless entry code. If someone could give me some general directions I think I could get to it pretty easily.

On another note, my name is Mike and live in San Diego, CA and I drive a modified Audi A4. I'm sure that many of you will hate me :fire: for buying a non car, but oh well. Please give me a hand. Thanks.

First of all, welcome to the site.

For the keyless entry code, it is on the front of the control box located behind the driver's side cargo area panel. There should be a sticker on it with 5 large numbers which is the code. It is not that easy to see, can be a PITA, you'll definately need a flashlight and possibly a mirror.
