My 2000 Explorer is acting up again. I recently gave it a tune up with spark plugs and wires, pcv valve oil change; the works. But again my check engine light came on and it has a crazy idle and feels like its gonna stall. Anyone have any ideas?

Also, i noticed when i'm merging onto the freeway, and my truck shifts from 3rd to 4th, theres a crazy grinding sound coming from the back. Could it be the differential?

I don't know if anybody has experienced this, but my real wiper doesn't work. Damn, I guess I really bought a good used car huh? Haha! Thanks!

Start by pulling the engine codes. That should help diagnose the idle problem. Post the codes here. Also, you might want to clean the IAC. There are many posts on that on this forum.
