Hi, I own a 2001 ford explorer. I just had the wiring harness done under the recall. I noticed the wiring, plug's into the master cylinder. I have no problem's with this truck until this was done. Now when i put it in 4 wheel drive my front wheel's lock up. My ABS seem's to be acting funny also. ( the light come's on when this happen's) What's going on here? Can anyone help! Thank's.:)

take it back to the dealer who installed the update .they have to fix it if they done it .did you check the fuse in that wire?i do believe that updated wiring has a fuse .

i had no issues when mine was done

I guess i should do that. This was done 2 weeks ago and i am not pos sure it's whats causing it. All i know is i can drive it in auto, But when i get on snow covered roads and try to use the 4 wheel the back wheels spin and the front one's lock up. Almost as if the brake's are locking up. Thanks:)
