need info on engine swap options for 93EB

I have a 93EB and am just about ready for a new engine. What alternatives are there to keep with the original auto. trans. (the trans was just rebuilt so I'd like to keep it).

I'm not sure which 4.0 engines will bolt up (I'm thinking late model SOHC),
will a 5.0 v8 bolt up etc....

if you want to keep the tranny your only option is a 4.0 ohv....i dont think the sohc will mate up, and the v8 definetly wont

Even if it did bolt up the torque from the 5.0 would destroy the v-6 trany
