Need more horsepower

I am a new 2004 SportTrac owner, and desperately need more horsepower before I get killed getting on the freeway (Ok I live in California so I'm not kidding). I see some after market chips but need a recommendation.
Also found an intake on the internet for $69 claims to give me 10.7 more horse power. Is it worth it?

Don't believe that HP claim.

However, an intake is a worthy mod, especially with combined with an enhanced exhaust.

I would do the Exhaust first....

Headers, High flow cat, muffler....

I wouldnt do the chip...those things never give what they claim...

K/n intake too...

The most efficient bang for the buck will be a underdrive pulley and a custom tune...I offer several parts for your ride. As far as intakes go stick with the MAC or K&N. They have excellent quality and the reputations exceed them-j
