OHV and "fast" dont belong in the same sentence (Unless you have a setup like alec)
The explorer is an SUV not a sport compact or even a sports car. It is what it is. Explorers are slow (ohv's) there nothing you can do... its the way it is.
Judging by your age, im assuming your in HS. Im guessing this is coming from your friends that have fast cars and you wanting to keep up with them???
The bolt-ons will help but thats its.. you cant get and extra 100 HP with exhaust, intake, chip.....
just aint going to happen unless you got $$$ to spend.
What size tires do you have on it???? that might be draggen ya down too...
What rear end ratio's are in your explorer? My aunt's 91 with 3.55's had a LOT more power and acceleration than what my 94 (with less than half the miles) does with its... 3.11's I think it is.. 3.08's maybe.. something like that..
