Need New Shocks??????

Gentlemen,

I have browsed the site looking for advice on shocks, but the information is a bit limited. I still have factory shocks on my ’94 4DR XLT, and if they were bad before, you can imagine the ride I have now.

What should I replace these with? I don’t do much off road driving, so I am looking for something that will improve the handling characteristics without cleaning out my bank account. Cornering and highway ride would be the main things I am looking to improve.

I like the Rancho 5000's..They are priced right, and give a good ride on the road. Been running them on mine for over a year now, no regrets or complaints..

I have Monroe Reflex on my truck and the body roll and lean is much reduced over factory shocks. They are like $50 each. I've also heard good things about Gabrial VST's, and they are only like $25 each. Pretty much anything will be better than stock I would imagine.
