heres the deal, I changed the oil on my girl's 2005 Ford Escape Duratec 30 V6.....requires 6 quarts of oil and she runs synthetic anyway. We went and got the oil, filter, etc and out it al in. The vehicle runs fine, its just that at idle, there is a ticking noise and I cant figure it out. very slight ticking but its annoying the crap outta me. I did her coolant this afternoon and well, I drained about a good 8 to 9 quarts, filled up my bucket to the brim, 7.5 quart drain bucket, caught the rest with a regular ass pan. went to refill it and it only took back 6 quarts?!?!?!? lost on both issues
