Ok, so i narrowed it down to my passenger front side lower ball joint, so i decided to do this today, had some struggles with some rust but overall it was easy, got to the ball joint and hammered it out (relitively easy), so i put a HUGE (32mm) socket around the bottom of the new ball joint, and set it on the floor jack, and jacked it up under the control arm and into the hole, and i put some pressure on it, so i beat on the control arm and it started sliding up in pretty easy, then got to about a 1/16th of an inch till it was fully seated and i just spent around an hour beating on the control arm and trying different things, and just cant seem to get it to go any further...

Anybody have any ideas? or should i just go rent the right part from autozone to do the job..?

Thanks!!!:D

Couple things you could try.

Heat up the control arm evenly with a propane torch or rent the ball joint press. Its free, no reason not to. Maybe spray some PB blaster on it and let it soak before you heat it up.
