Need some ideas

Im new here and wanted to some ideas of what to do to my 05 v8. I dont want to get to crazy and spend a ton of money but i would like to do a few performance upgrades. Any ideas would be great.

Newbie here. I've added Magnaflow exhaust and K&N open air intake. Made a big difference. Doesn't compare to an Aviator, but I love it!

Also, added Mustang Bullit wheels that match my Eddie Bauer trim. Good luck!!!

yup i would dafinently do the intake first the sound and throttle response alone is worth it. little expensive but, like i said worth it. just got gibson cat-back exhaust and it sounds sick too! chip is next i just dont know which one.

flowmasters i got flowmasters on my 01 sport and i love how it sounds i got the 40 series. i got single in and dual out but i wanna get true duals soon.

FM 40 series will be the loudest...

FM 50 series would sound really nice IMO...

FM 70 series will sound deep, but not loud i would guess...

Magnaflow is an option as well...

i was thinking about magnaflow but really didnt want to drop that much on it. what do the flowmasters usually run and is it just the muffler or all new piping?

You can just replace the muffler. I have the 70 series and it will set you back roughly $130 dollars. I also have the 3rd cat removed with 2.5" exhaust. I never miss a chance to show off

I'm looking for a little of both. I would like a deep throaty sound but not so loud that i cant talk when people are riding along.

Limited i like your set up. If you dont mind me asking how much was it to get everything installed and is this something that can i can do myself or do i need to find a exhaust shop? Thanks again for the help guys

Well Magnaflow is not as loud and Flowmasters cause they arent cambered. But Magnaflow are non restrictive so you get more power. But i cut off the resonator and cat off mine and i get a mean sound with Magnaflows, not too loud at idle and highway speeds. But its all about preference.
