I have a '91 EB. I am in the process of getting the 6" skyjacker lift. One thing I have to know, is if it is possible for me to do the lift myself with just basic mechanical knowhow and some tools, or if it necessitates bringing my "X" in for the lift. I'm already thinking of taking it in to get the rivets knocked out, but is the rest simple enough for me to put on. Oh yeah, I am also going to put on the superrunner steering linkage. Is this easy enough to put on. I know that pitman arms are a pain it the @ss to get off, but I'm pretty sure I can manage that. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you
Andy

Dude, You can do those rivets your self. Take $50 and go buy a grinder since you will pay for at least that at a shop for an hour of labor. I was the least mechanically inclined person before my lift went on, now I look at it like playing with Leggos.
Good luck

One other thought on that jacker lift, many reccomend a spring over rather than the huge spring under leafs that dont want to flex as much.

hey I just bought the skyjacker 6 inch lift too how much did you pay for yours? and where did you get it.

Deffinatlly go for the SOA in the rear.

Dan did you have to buy longer U bolts or not for the rear that is
