need specs for spacer build

hi guys im back asking for your help again does anyone have the specs on spacers like how they should be or can be build and what materials i need i have someone who is willing to work with me on building them for my truck im looking to get 3 inches of lift from stock 03 explorer awd height so the space between bolts and so on as much help as possible because im trying to have these dont before late june cuz im getting bigger mud grip tires and alot of offroading to do in the summer months. all the help is appreciated

definately wouldnt do 3 inches ... 2.25 is the "safe" max without crazy cv and ball joint angles i got 4 inches total from 2.25/1.75 and 255-75/17 bfg mud terrains ... but as for materials about 1/4 in flat steel and about 3-4 in round tubing ... dont have the bolt hole dimensions

thanks for those dimensions i hope someone can give me the bolt hole dimensions and ill be ready to rock and the lift height ur talking about doesnt sound too bad either that height should work great too

Why don't you to go to the auto parts store and look at a replacement front and rear strut assembly...pull the measurements off those.
