need to convert to 5 speed!

i have a 95 2 door 4/4 4.0 explorer and the tranny is doing funny stuff.i would like to know which tranny (i heard a 2.9 5 speed out of a ranger will work)to put in this!i have a 93 eddie b for parts but this is a a4ld correct?can i use this tranny?i would really like to convert it though if any one has the hardware to sell or trade for parts off the first gen please let me know!email me at jc198650@yahoo.com. also if i just put a c4 in it what will the computer do?do i need a manual computer?

You will need a manual computer. While you can use the 2.9L tranny, I would not. It's a bit weak compared to the newer ones for the 4.0L. You cannot use the A4ld on your 95.

can you use a m5od out of a newer ranger? what else do i need?whats the front spindles worth in a 93?
