need to remove middle axle shaft

you not going to like this, but the only way you can get the complete axle shaft out, is to drop the pumpkin out, and get the c-clip from inside. that or, if you can , remove the u joint if you want the part with the boot on it out. dont know how hard it is to remove the u joint from them while still in the front end.
