Well... As the title says... Very sadly, i need to sale her... But what to do with the upgrades? I mean, if i trade it in, they will not recognize Any extra for them... I think tha same will be the case if i sale her to an individual....

So i was thinking replacing all the stock part (i still have them) and just sale all the upgrades online some where... I might be able to get more $$$ like this?

What do u all think?

Thanks

List your aftermarket parts. I may have some interest.

if you are going to part out the after market parts, id like a price quote on the full set of HIDs

Why do you have to sell it?

You probably already know this, but since you are now an elite ;) you can sell the truck or the parts in the for sale sub forum.

Click here for the Auto & Truck Parts For Sale sub forum.

Click here for the Used Ford Explorer - Ranger and all other Vehicles For Sale sub forum.

Good luck!

Gas prices are killing me.... And they are not going down... I don't tow anythign anymore... We sold the boat... Evry now and then i tow a small 4x8 trailor w a lawnmower... Just not practical anymore...

Yes one of the beneits of being elite... I should not have waited this long... Specially now that i.ll sale it...

I wiol rather see the truck go with all the upgrades... They do make a nice difference and i much rather see it go to oone of the forum members... They/we can really appreciate the capabilities of these trucks... Off road, street, strp...

I guess i will post it here... If it doesn't go then i'll take the pgrades out, then sale them here and just sale the naked truck to a local...

I'll thnk of a price.... How, good is nada or kkb?

would you be instrested in trading running boards? i have the plastic style but would really like the oem tubular style

i love the look of you upper and lower grills, what r those made of

Take the truck back to stock and sell the upgrade parts separately. This way you will have more potential buyers for the pieces individually instead of trying to find ONE buyer that wants the whole package.

I couldn't agree more. I know someone that had an F-150 with a bunch of mods, and it wouldn't sell. He took it to a dealer and got a quote for trade-in at $4800. He took it back to stock and then went to another dealer and traded it in for $6000. Just because you think it makes it nice doesn't mean some else is going to think the same (I know, who could argue Mountaineer seats?)

Take that stuff off and sell it!

Basically for the dealer they don't want modified vehicles for resale.. If they buy a vehicle with modifications, they'll have to spend additional money in labor & parts to restore the vehicle to stock condition. Even trying to sell a modified vehicle is a loss cause often times the value of the modification actually is a hindrance to the resale value.
