I like it, but how many ft/lbs of tq is 355Nm?

i remember someone posting this site a while back.
pretty neat looking vehicle. can't tell from the pics if its a solid axle front.. but it looks kind of like a ifs or some sort.
looks cool though.

It kind of looks like a cross between a old land cruiser and a land rover defender. I have to say though that the fender flares shout Mitsubishi montero.

it is a solid axel, it has coils in front and leafs in back says it is made for offroading and the only cars to compare would be a discovery or hummer

:D It's the old, Rumanian ARO 244 :D They have been around for ages: tough as nails, simple technics, little comfort, the way modern 4x4 are not built anymore. Strange the engine though. They used to come with 1.9 liter turbodiesel engines from Renault and Peugot. 2.8 liter intercooled turbo diesel sounds more like Isuzu to me. And "born in the Amazon": Are they made now in Brazil???

There's a short article about them in the June 2003 Motor Trend magazine which says the engines are built by International Harvester. And yes, the trucks are being built in Brazil.
