Just picked up a 1997 Explorer XL for $500, blown head gasket. Now this is my new project. Planning on TT and shackles, 31" and new rims, full exhaust and a full engine rebuild. I am very thankful for finding this site with all the info it contains. Anyone in the southern Maryland area PM me as I am always looking to like minded individuals.
