- '98 Mountaineer AWD V8
Hello Posters!
I'm Awdmountainman, and a week ago, I bought a very well kept 98 Mountaineer AWD. It had 161,000 miles on her, but was only a 1-owner with years of service records and great cleanliness.
She has every option possible, inc leather, MACH stereo/CD player, 235/75r15 rims, and many more I couldn't found a better used SUV.
I just (today) put a set of Goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac tires. I get to test them on sand this weekend
Before this, I had a 94 Explorer 4.0 XLT. I ran her until a bad rollover on the local sand dunes forced me to look for a another rig.
I look foward to reading all the advice forums. This site just looked so fun to b/s with other Explorer/Mountaineer fans.
