Hi I was wondering if somebody could help me.
I am working on a 98' mountaineer and for some reason the
2 tubes of the egr tubing going to the exhaust manifold is are missing
Where would such animals get connected to. The motor is a 5.0 I picked
the truck up and alot of things where not hooked up. The repaair manual
I am using does not show anywhere where they go
Thanks for the help.

Attached to the rear of the upper plennum will be a bracket with a solenoid and a flat -square shaped sensor. You can barely see it, bit it is there. This is the DPFE

On the bottom edge of it are 2 ports, one is reference, one is pressure. The hoses need to be connected to the appropriate nozzles on the EGR pipe.

you might find them dangling behind the upper intake, still attached to the DPFE, toward the passenger side.

The lower Nozzle ( closest to the exhaust manifold) on the egr pipe is the reference line.
