2002 Eddie Bauer Exlorer
Been searching but I cannot seem to find any info, I recently put a pioneer stereo in my fiances 2002 Eddie Bauer along with a kicker L5 sub, I have the factory amp and sub unhooked, everything else is wired just like it should be and shrink wrapped so they would pull loose or rub.
Anyhow, randomly the stereo will reset itself, sometimes the car sets for days and its fine sometimes it's off just a few hours and does it. Did I get a cheap unit or is something else going on? Thanks.

Sounds like an internal issue or it would happen more. Say if it was a bad power connection using the twist nuts, I'd think it would be more symptomatic.

Well I was wondering if it wasn't the head unit itself, it just does it randomly when the vehicle is off.
