new and looking at a 93 4x4

hey there im new here and have a couple questions..ive had an offer to trade my 77 F250 for a 93 explorer 4x4 with the 4.0L V6.it only has 93000 miles on it and seems to be in good shape.are there any specific things i need to check out on it?i was also wondering what axles came in these trucks.i used to have a 93 ranger 4x4 with the same motor so im somewhat familiar with the setup.any help is appreciated..thanks!

Welcome to this forum! Check the blend door, oil for antifreeze contamination, transmission fluid for a burned smell, and dirty fluids. The front end might have dried/cracked bushings. The ball joints, and U joints should be checked as well. Is it a 4WD? The auto hubs might need work.
 






Does it have 93,000 miles or 193k or 293k?

When I bought mine, owner said it had 120k miles, but come to find out after seeing some papers, it was 220k (odometer only showed 20k because the lack of the extra 0)
 












92 Eddie: 246k still runs like a champ, great on gas, and actually gets up and goes
95 sport: 138k
