2004 Lincoln Aviator
Just picked up a silver 2004 Aviator with 97K miles. Body and interior are in fantastic shape, one owner, non-smoker. Annoying that some things don't work, like the cruise control, heated/cooled seats, driver side rear door window, and driver's seat adjustment (only slide and lumbar work). But I suppose for being 14 years old, it could've been a LOT worse!

The day after I got the Aviator, I replaced the window wiper blades with a new set of Bosch Icon blades. Recharged the AC system, and replaced a missing door lock pull with a new pair. There was a little bit of rust along the bottom edge of the rear hatch, and some surface rust on the roof. So I hit those areas with a wire brush, wiped down with brake cleaner, then brushed on some bedliner paint. I drilled a series of small holes, about 3 inches apart, in the plastic trim piece that the rear hatch closes against. I could see the ground thru the holes, so I'm hoping whatever water was accumulating and causing the rust along the bottom edge of the hatch will drain thru those holes.

Love driving this thing, feels solid on the road, and rides nice (I'm thinking that IRS has a lot to do with it). It has aftermarket wheels of some kind, still 17", that had 245/65 all-season tires. Just replaced them with a set of 255/65 Cooper Discoverer RTXs, and they look great on the truck. Got them at NTB for $125 each, with a $70 mail-in rebate, so my net cost after installation is about $545. Ordered some in-channel window visors and new KYB struts, should have those installed by the end of next week. Will be dropping it off at an automotive glass place to have them fix the rear passenger window. Don't know if it's the motor, regulator, or switch, so hopefully they can diagnose what's wrong and fix it for not too much money.

My wife will be the main driver of this rig, I have a 2018 Ford F150 XLT FX4 with the 2.7 Ecoboost that's mine. I think she'll be very pleased with this rig, especially in the rain, mud, and snow.
