New belt question?????

ok so i have a 94 X. Came factory with the A/C. I had a unfortunate breakdown leading to a few repairs over the weekend (Posted on another thread)
My question is can i purchase a non A/C belt and pull off my non-working a/c compressor and use a non a/c belt?

I would say yes, except you could just leave the old compressor on. That is how the belt is run on my '93. Seems to work good!

well i already have a bypass pully on it as of now and the bearings are going bad.

Yes. Although the Xplorer was never offered without ac the parts stores list a belt for non-ac models. That is exactly what I have done with mine.
