New drive shaft...

I had a vibration at 60. Found dent in shaft. Went to a couple of junkyards and found junk. Had this made instead...

Do not understand. Looks too long to be a front shaft, but rear uses different mounting flange, no removable bearing caps, I think.

So if front, is your aim to eliminate the C-V joint at the transfer case? imp
 






It's the rear drive shaft from my 2004 explorer. The flanges are from my old shaft. A slip yoke was added and the joint in the middle was eliminated.
