New Explorer Owner.

Hello,
I just picked up a 91 ford explorer with a 6" lift and a bad transmission LOL.
The last owner was a 4x4 enthusiast and put a ton of money into it. It has a .30 over 4.0L V6 and a big body and suspension lift. I really like it but it needs a ton of work. Yesterday was water pump day and it still squeaks so today is
alternator day. Next week will be transmission week and then it will be electrical month. There is alot of good info on the forum here and this will be a very valuable tool thanks guys.

Thanks guys, Man these things are alot of work lol. Now I got all the engine squeaking fixed and the electrical issues fixed the front end is starting to rattle it kinda sounds like a crunching sound when its in motion at low speeds, I think it sounds like a hub going out?
The last owner said he replaced the ball joints and all the front end stuff but it sounds rough.
But it could be the 5 speed It is in bad shape and has no 3rd gear and sounds like a train horn in first gear. Makes me wonder whats next lol?

yea just got my 91 explorer 4.0l 4x4 2 days ago runs like a champ nothing special yet. had brand new looking tires didnt inspect them close took it desert running and pop threw the spare on it which happened to be the firestone tire from the recall rofl and boom pop today now i got 4 new tires on it heh. Just joined the site for some info and such wanna supercharge it lift and beast it up. Anyone got a supercharger kit they would recomend
