try a search and you'll find everything you need to know.

For not a lot of money, intake and custom cat back are nice performance mods.

As for the stereo, totally depends on how much you want to spend....just remember you get what you pay for when it comes to stereo equipment, for example - stay very far away from Pyramid and go with top quality brands such as MTX, JL Audio, Audiobahn, Alpine ect.....

92 xlt

thanks right after i got it some body told me that it did matter how much you spent on the exhaust it would not sound good is this true

Welcome to the site.

As far as exhausts go there is a debate going on whether Borla or Flowmaster or even Gibson are best. You'll have to judge for youself. When it comes to a stereo the sky's the limit just don't get it ripped off. All the best.

Don't forget about the Ravin'! I run 2.25" with a Ravin' Z55 on the OHV and it sounds sweet. Most of the system's sound is heard at 2K RPMs or less and it is not at all too loud at highway speeds (1900 RPMs). With the K&N you'll be able to notice a power inrease. Ravin' is kinda new on the scene and really doesn't have a big following yet, I chose it on the recomendation of the owner of the muffler shop that did the work. BTW aluminized 2.25" cat back with a Z55 and 3" exit onlt ran me $160.

you can go to http://www.cmttrading.com they have cheap stereo system stuff. Most of it's unknown names but I got two 12s and an amp that sounded damn good for like $300 for my Buick.

i have a 92 XLT as well. things that i've done to engine that impressed me the most were a Flowmaster 40 series single in dual out muffler with the cat back exhaust. and the chip i put in the engine. i paid 320 for my exhaust and 200 for chip. intake is nice, the bbk throttlebody is nice (but not for 200)

the question of the day..

cool thanks
about the exhaust are they hard to do my self or sould i pay to have one put one

pay to have it done...you might wanna buy the muffler yourself though. i didn't i just went and told em i want a flowmaster catback exhaust. plus they weld it for you. i do not believe in a bolt on exhaust system.
