Figured I would go ahead and sign up and introduce myself since I've been browsing the site for a couple days now. Names Joey and I'm from a little town Called Paris, TX. We're about 30 min from Oklahoma and we're very NE TX.
I'll be getting a 1998 Explorer 4 door here in about 3 weeks from a friend. White, all stock, 248k, tranny replaced 2 years ago and motor kept up VERY well within the last 15 years ( I know both the original owner and the guy it went to next, who still has it).
I'm planning on doing a full tune up on it and detail it once I get it. Mods I'm planning aren't anything to crazy, because it's also going to be a family car. Also this is not what I'm used to, I'm usually into smaller compact cars, but we need something bigger since we've got two boys that are almost 3 and 5 now.
Plans:
tinted windows
smoked lights
black wheels w/ some beefy tires (biggest without lifting it)

upgraded audio
possibly a different grille if I can find a nice looking one.
