Hi guys,

Thanks for your help.

Car cut out on me: revs went low when turning a corner at low speed, gas peddle wouldn't respond then car cut out. Started again OK and then cut out 200 meters later.

Anyway, mechanic said it was the fuel pump and so got it changed.

For 9 days no problem.

Tonight, slowing down and turning corner at low speed revs reduce and gas peddle unresponsive, car nearly cuts out and then jumps back into action. Then 50 meters later turning the corner again at low speed same thing happens.

After that no problems at all.

Spark plugs were changed the day before the fuel pump as well.

Fuel filter was changed at the same time as the fuel pump.

Alternator was changed only 4 months ago.

When they plugged the computer into the car it showed up no faults at all.

Can anyone tell me what the problem may be?

Thank you so much.

It's a 4.0 liter as far as I can remember. 6 cylinder.

Computer came up with no fault codes at all.

Thanks.

I had this happen also. Check the wires on the throttle positioning sensor. On my truck the shielding crumbled off and they were touching. I cut, soldied, and heat shrunk. Fixed for me. Hope this helps!!

Btw: it's on the back side of the throttle body
