New guy from Chicago!

Hey all, my name is Jessie and I hail from Chicago. I recently began working as an IT guy/driver for a local repair shop and purchased a 1998 Explorer XLT from my boss for $1800 dollars with 200,00 miles on it. The engine was swapped out for another used one before I got it and the replacement engine looked very clean and was in perfect condition when we got it in. Just recently replaced the trans for $400 with what looked like a rebuilt one, also in great condition. The truck runs great and was wondering what life expectancy I may have with it now that both the engine an trans have been replaced. Regular maintenance will be done conveniently while I work. =]

Well this explorer should do great things for you. My 98 has just hit 172,850 and its running on original engine and a rebuilt transmission. Other than that my 98 explorer has been more reliable than some of my friend's foreign cars.
