New guy from KY

Hi everyone. I just found the site tonight. Im from southeast ky and drive a completely stock 92 explorer(manual transmission) with 267,000 miles. The last 80k or so have been up and down a mountain as a work vehicle.

1991 got a blown head gasket $500. It's at Brian Jones Auto Sales, out on Shoppers Drive, kind of across the street from Chili's.

You might want to check your directions because there is no chili's in winchester. Is the ex tan and 1st gen. If so i believe it is on maple ave(exit 96 on i-64). I think that is brian jones' lot

Yeah, it's Brian Jones' lot.. Sorry, my bad. the wife just informed me it was an Applebee's, Theres a big peddlers mall type of thing across the street. guy was asking $690, but evidently wasn't getting any bites...guess he needs to move it. Now it's down to $500.

Yeah, it's the tan 1st gen, rockers are gone under the rear doors. I didn't get out and look at it too closely.

Sorry about jacking, or resurrecting, this thread, but I found this forum while doing a search for Brian Jones Auto Sales, as the manager is someone I used to work with and I am building some links for him.

Interesting to see some fellow Kentuckians on the forum; including one from the same town as me: Winchester.

I don't own an Explorer myself. I recently bought two vehicles, older models, which are both Fords; an Escort and an Econoline conversion van.

I have been looking for another vehicle to use as a backup, and have included an Explorer and a Bronco in the potential options.

I had noticed two posts earlier which are now gone. Don't know if it was a hiccup with the database or if they were removed...uh...for being short posts...I guess?
