Hello everyone, about a week ago I became the proud owner of a 1994 XLT. So far I'm loving it. I haven't had a chance to try out the 4x4 for much more than seeing if it works yet, but it does work very well. What I'm hoping to do is get into some mild to moderate off-roading and getting good and muddy, nothing too extreme, as she also serves as my daily driver and weekend tow vehicle.

I hope to find out all sorts of valuable information from this forum.

Thank you for the welcomes so far. I haven't been able to take my Explorer "off road" more than hitting a few dirt roads near the dock I keep my boat at, but it did show me that my 4WD works superbly.

Hoping to hit some of the trails in and around Vancouver soon.
