Good afternoon folks
I just want you to get an idea of who this new guy is, so heres a bit of info on me.
First of all, I'm old and I've been playing and working on Ford products for a very long time. I have a good bit of experience on the Y blocks starting with the 232 and gradually getting into the windsor 221s up to the 351s and the Cleaveland engines. My real love is for the FEs, starting with the 360 HP/352 and going up to the 427s, including the SOHC engines.
I now am mainly playing with the new generation engines, primarily the 4.6 DOHC, 4.0 V-6, 4.0 SOHC V-6, and the ever reliable 5.0 Windsors.
I normally tamper with my Mark VIII and I'm spending a lot of time on a recent purchase for my wife, a fairly loaded '98 'sploder, 5.0 AWD that I got cheap and after catching up on a lot of nerglected maintenance it runs and drives like a new car.
I'm currently in the process of installing a 4.6 DOHC from a '98 Mark VIII into my '98 Expedition AWD and giving the boot to the 4.6 SOHC that came in it.
The future may have a turbo in it for the Expedition as well as for our off road play toy; '91 Ranger super cab 4.0 4X4.
I will probably visit often as I'm constantly doing something with one of them or out riding my Harley.
