2001 Explorer Sport
I just got an '01 Explorer Sport and am finding somethings that caught my eye. Whenever it's below 70 degrees, when i start it for the first 10 min or so of driving there seems to be a belt that squeaks and also, idling is a little rough for the first 10 mins too. Any ideas of what it could be? I got a 3/3,000 warranty on it so any ideas could help me narrow it down for the shop when I take it in here in a couple weeks. Thanks...

The squeaking is a pretty common thing with Explorers and Rangers from this time frame (my dad's 03 Ranger used to have it and my 01 has it). I forget what it was exactly, but it was a problem with a belt... timing belt and something with the cams comes to mind. If you have the warranty, take it in and they should know what to look for if it's a Ford dealer.
