Thanks for letting me join. First explorer; 2001 sport 4.0 5 speed and pretty excited about it. I do have some issues to iron out but still love my nightmare

Welcome! 4.0's are strong it will serve you well. I currently have the 3.0 4.0 and 5.0 in my three rigs, its fun to see how similar they are and different at the same time. Oh an this is a great place for info a lot of good advice to be had here!

Awesome thank you all. I see i will be asking ALOT of questions. Im 45 and this is my FIRST ford i have ever owned. Im looking foward to see what i can get into with it.

Quick tip. Some may not agree. Fords like there grounds. after doing you fluid changes front to back with the correct fluid, witch it probably does not have in it, check and clean all grounds. It will save headaches in the future!
