Hello. New guy to the forum from sunny Springfield mo. On my second Sport Trac. This one has been a nightmare so far.

I swapped interior from another 08 with leather. Well, the new seats have were both power and the driver had a drivers seat control module-so I ended up swapping out the seat tracks. After the swap, I have a persistent B2290 and 1382 code that just won’t clear.

I replaced the SRS module also. No improvement.

I have a SnapOn PassThru 4, and subscription to FJDS, and I’ve tried to reflash the modules and the flash fails due to the code. Really irritating me here.

The code is on the passenger seat only. Is it possible to plug the seat track sensors in to the wrong side of the track-that’s the only thing I can think of

so i aint no expert with those body codes, but i thik it has to do with the control module or the seat. iirc 2290 is for improper weight measurement or something like that. and 1382 iirc is for the door handle (forgot which) maybe a short or open when it aint supposed to be. maybe someone can make sense of this i wonder if the control module aint compatible with the pass seat,or something aint agreeing? not too sure, sorry man
