well im looking at trading my jeep for an explorer, well i was offered a 2 dr 99 xlt. i was inda hoping for a 4 door due to kids...

can anyone tell me the differnces.. are they the same length? same inside size?

Nope, the Sport is shorter, and sort of narrower inside in the rear seat. The truck itself is the same width, but the rear seat is put between the wheel wells in the sport instead of in front of them in the 4 door, so the seating space is less.

You can see the middle section that you would lose.

You'll love an Ex for kids, but yeah- I'd probably look for a 4 door unless they're out of carseats already. If they are and you only have 2, it wouldn't be bad. 3 and you'll have issues.
The rear seat of the Sport has decent access through the passenger side, but not really for adults, IMHO...

No the sport only has seat belts for 2. And it does suck as an adult to get back there.

well we only have 2 kids now.. but the third is being planned.....

im not worried about adults gettin back there... cause well it will never be me, and if there is one back there they did something to piss me off.

well i got the sport.. just waiting on them to safty and etest it.. i should have it tuesday..
pretty pumped...

the rockers are a little rusty but thats about it!
