You can get a

4.0 sohc
4.0 ohv
5.0 V8 (but not in the sport)

All years have a 4" lift and most ranger suspension will work but you dont need it, they now have Explorer lifts. Rear lift is spring over axle.

welcome to the site!

cant get a sport with a 5.0 (i dont think)

leaf below axle stock

can tow decent amount

ranger lift wont work.... but superlift and trailmaster have new lifts out.....

lots of other stuff too

ppl are talkin bout camburg spindles?
are these the same as ranger?

cuz i really want to b rollin on 31's atleast
gunna find a black 5-speed hopefully

which engine is better? OHV or SOHC?

I'm 95 % sure spindles can only be used on 2 wheel drive Explorers.

welll if thats the only way possible i guess, ill b lookin for a 2wd
ill b gettin a $7500, car loan so ill look around

You can only use spindles on a 2wd.

As for which engine is better, they both have good qualities. The SOHC has more hp, but the OHV is a more reliable engine with better torque.
