Let me introduce myself.
I'm new here, but not to auto forums. I've been a member of www.modernmusclecars.net for about 7 years. I currently live in the SF Bay Area, CA. Just outside San Jose. I've lived in NY, CT, and FL also. I'm 28 years old. Married. No kids (except my 2 dogs, Bruno & Shelby). I'm an avid fisherman...freshwater, saltwater, everything from Bluegills to Salmon to Sharks. I work for the local Housing Authority as a Database Administrator / Computer Systems Technician.
I just bought a 1998 Explorer XLT 5.0 last week. I traded a '98 Tacoma for it. The main reason I bought it was for towing the family boat, a 1991 Reinell 21.5' cuddy cabin.
The Explorer's been pretty good so far. It's got 118,000 miles on it. It gets piss poor gas mileage(12-13mpg) - a tune up is on the way...as soon as I stop pouring money into my peice of crap '01 Impala that's had non-stop problems since I bought it 4 years ago.
Anyways, I'm sure I'll make myself right at home in here.
