hey im new.. my name is Genny and im a 22 year old female from southern California ... i just bought a 1993 explorer xlt 4x4 for $700 bucks , had some busted heads (apparently the 4.0 stock heads are nutorious for cracking) , Replaced those with some stronger ones.. now the car runs fantastically.. found this site while trying to look up why the hell my stock radio didnt work. and this site is where i found the answer (crappy ford external amp) . Just wanted to say so far this site has been extremly helpful in the "bringing back to life" of my explorer. it was pretty nasty inside when i bought it. some lady owned it . and apparently she had some long haired dogs....ive spent quite a bit of time trying to remove all the hair from between all the seats and other various spaces.... literally basketball sized balls of it. discusting. looking at all the pictures of lifted and fixed up explorers im excited about going into debt trying to fix mine up.. haha. nice to meet ya'll ..

eh, 161,000 miles on it. but for 700 bucks. its fine with me. plus is 12 years old.... the lady who had it before me was the 2nd owner, and i have all the service records , they both kept up on it pretty well, so im not too worried.
