New Hitch

So, I installed a new factory hitch on my 95 Sport. When I completed the hitch center does not line up with the bumper hole center. Anyone know why this could be? bumper bent?

bumper probably bent

Measure from frame to hole in bumper from both sides. This should tell you whether bumper is bent or if hitch is offset.

Hey waskie, if you don't mind me asking, how much did the hitch and installation cost? I would like to get one on my X too.

I bought mine from Ford dealer for $119.75 (pn 75083) in April of 1999. I installed it myself. It is made by Draw-Tite (good quality).
