new in dash problem

good afternoon everyone

I just installed a new double din dvd dash radio in my 2003 ford explorer it turns on but when i drive it shuts off anyone have any ideas why??


Plus does anyone have the right schematics to the radio harness for this year

Um, does it stop working when you start the car, or when exactly?

As soon as I start to drive

So, essentially, when you put it in Drive? What radio is it exactly? Sounds odd to me.

Its a boss bv9362bi

Did you hook up the parking brake wire? It probably has a lock out when you're not parked.

No I connexted the parking break to a switch so my kids can watch while I drive

Make sure that switch is wired up right. Seems like that's the problem. There's no reason for a radio to die when you start moving. It's either a coincidence, or the lock out.
