New MAS + KKM questions

Which would be more effective (in creating more power) to just get a larger MAS, get just a KKM filter, or get both (a larger MAS and KKM filter)? RIght now I just have the flat K&N as a stock replacement. Thanks in advance.

kkm would be best bang for the buck. altho, not legal for smog here in ca..oh well it is only a fix it ticket. mas will only add a noticable amount of power if you have several other engine mods as well, otherwise it will barely do a thing

The sounds alone you get from the KKM was worth it from me... sounds real mean!!!

Would the combo give me any more horses even with my cat back and if I changed the plugs and wires to Bosch's and Splitfires?

kkm would for sure.... mas maybe a bit. if you got a chip too you might start seeing the mas pay off....

You SHOULD gain more performance as well as gas mileage by doing the plugs and wires too.

Your stock MAS should be fine, simply be sure it is clean.
