Hello, all. I joined here because I have an 89 Ranger that I am restoring and need a source of technical info. The Haynes and Clymers books are good but dont tell the whole story. I love my Ranger but a couple years back the lifters started rattling and eventually I had to park it. Now I am rebuilding the engine and transmission in my garage. I figure I can get the old girl going again for less than $2000 and she will be better than anything I could buy for $2000. Plus, I will know what is inside.I am a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, hence the ChiefH screenname.
